Afya Collective is dedicated to the empowerment and restoration of all black women, regardless of socio-economic standing. It has been proven that the average individual must have their basic needs- food, shelter, safety, and health – met, before they can use the resources around them to truly unlock their potential. We want to tackle this issue by providing women with our Afya Love Care Packages.

Many of the women that we want to cater to, unfortunately may not have access to these basic needs. As an organization, we want to reach the most vulnerable and marginalized in our community. We plan to do this by providing care packages to women that really need them. These care packages will be seasonal and pandemic focused. They will include items such as: grocery store gift cards, hygiene products, PPE, and clothing items (ex. Socks, gloves, tuques, scarves etc). By providing basic support for women experiencing homelessness, poverty, domestic violence, mental health issues, and hunger; we hope to give them the ability to see beyond their current situation.
